I don't know who your ISDN provider is, but the part you need to focus on is what for me is the 'KPN' (my provider) context. You need to make sure to get that part right for outgoing calls. (also make sure to read the wiki pages I linked to)

Note this is not the complete file, just the last part that is customised for Dutch Telecom provider KPN. It has been kept as straightforward as possible to funvtion with a simple one-port ISDN card. You might want to spend some time with the Wiki pages here to figure out the correct configuration for your system.
Now go into FreePBX and make a custom trunk, use the following sting as 'Custom Dial String'
mISDN/g:kpn/$OUTNUM$
Note that 'kpn' comes from the (second) misdn.conf (see above)

Thanks for this great article. It is my first (real) trixbox experience. I have followed the guide and am able to dial in and get the IVR to speak to me and let an extension ring. But i can`t dial out via ISDN. I keep getting: "Your call cannot be completed as dialed....". I do know we have to dial a 0 (zero) to get an outside line but i have that setup in the trunk but i still can`t make any calls. I have used the misdn port commands and the line is UP.
Do you have an idea what could be the issue here ?

And I understand that you have other priorities. I got the link (I'll refer to it as the "json link") through another site ( www.sgmce.com). This site appears to scrape it's EPG data via the json link - the site owner provided it in it's "debug" function. However, this site appears to have dropped from the face of the internet in the last few days. Anyway, I had another look at the json link and it seems that this link does not provide any data like credits. As for the 3rd link, this appears to be a very simple page with not much data in it. I will try and see if I can make the lists you requested. I've managed to install WebGrab++ on a Fedora 16 Linux based virtual machine. Works pretty well. Got to install WINE and Mono (Linux version of .NET) first before WebGrab++ can be installed. However, I noticed that the XMLTV output does not contain the Genre (or Category) of the shows. the problem with the error 500 is due to an error in the site digiturk.com.tr . Some (a lot) of the showdetail links return this error because the url of the link is broken. You will see the problem also if you use the site in your browser. There isn't much WG++ can do about that because there is no way to predict which of the show detail links is broken and which are OK. WG++ will retry using the retry setting in the config file when it encounters such a broken link.
The best way to minimize the grab time is to overrule the config retry settings in the sitein file digiturk.com.tr.ini by adding the line:
site {retry=<retry time-out="1">1</retry>}
below the line :
site {ratingsystem=TR|episodesystem=onscreen}
Let's hope the site will correct this error anytime soon.

autoEPG configures the xml file only once, while adding or removing channels, it does not change the file after or before every grab, it works makes the changes only on user request

A -- the bandwith the site allows a user and
B -- your internet connection speed.
re A: I have the impression that this also depends on the location of the user wrt that of the site. But generally some sites are very slow whatever your connection speed is. An notorious example of a snail-speed site is telerama.fr.
re B: Of course it helps to have a high internet connection speed, but EPG grabbing is all about downloading a large amount of small files (in your example about 15000!) which involves that many WebRequests (upload) and consequent WebResponses (Download), which is not the same as just downloading one big file.
Experience learns that on average one can expect a time consumption between 0.3 and 0.8 seconds/updated show for a mix of sites.
Some statistics from your grab job:
1. You grabbed 14746 shows which needed 4386 show updates in 104 minutes (0.42 s/show and 1.43 s/update) This is certainly dissapointing. The main reason of the slow result is telerama.fr :
2. You grabbed 1178 shows from Telerama.fr which needed 354 udates in 70 minutes (3.57 s/show and 11.87 s/update)
3. The results without snail speed Telerama , 13568 shows with 4014 updates in 34 minutes (0.15 s/show and 0.51 s/update) which is about the speed one can expect.
4. What worries me is the very high percentage of updates in the total amount of shows: For a 7 days grab in incremental mode one should expect about 16% updates , nearly all of mode new (n). Your job has 30% updates!! And a lot in mode changed (c) 6.8% and in mode gab (g) 5.5%. This indicates either - a high number of failed downloads of the previous days or - a changed/edited or partly corrupt xmltv file.
Question : does your AutoEpg program change or edit the xmltv file after its grabbed??? If so, you should use another file as target for this editing. The changes can trigger grab updates. Whatever ... there is something wrong there.
Some answers to your questions and suggestions:
1. Question : --- is there an option do dissable description grabbing in the conf file?
[a bit of explanation; The program grabs from two webpages, as all other epg webgrabbers, the index pages (with an overview of all shows mostly for a day), and the showdetail pages with the rest of the showdetails.]
Answer: --- no, you cannot disable the description in the config, but you can disable all showdetails in the siteini of the site by disabling the 'index_urlshow' entry (add a * at the beginning). This will speed up the grabbing a lot but you will also miss all the details from the showdetail page. It will not help at all to just disable a single xmltv element, like description, because the timeconsumption is caused by the grabbing of the showdetail page and not the scrubbing of the xmltv elements from it.
2. Question : --- does it download the complete page with scripts, images .... ?
Answer : --- no, it only downloads the html without downloading any sub-links on it. A typical indexpage or showdetail page is in the order of 20kB - 100kB.
Conclusion and suggestions:
1. Without telerama.fr the whole grab is 3 times faster and within the speed to be exected.
2. Do not use telerama.fr if you want speed.
3. Look into the reason of the excessive amount of updates of mode (c) and (g).
4. Without these unnessary updates the grab will be another 40% faster
5. If you still think it's too slow ... use a faster one and tell me which.

I'm running 2008R2
I realized I was missing the battery and remember I had installed the APC software to check it out (junk) and if you install the APC agent the battery disappears from the system tray. I uinstalled the APC Agent and whalla the batter returned the the script worked again. Hope this helps others. I was thinking to use the APC software in conjuntion just for monitoring more detailed info about power conditions.

is there an option do dissable description grabbing in the conf file?
why is soo slow? does it download the complete page with scripts, images .... ? if so can't you make it not to download the images, big ussless elements ...?
as you can see it took allmost 2 hours to grabb the data (and the data was downloaded the previous day, so it should have to download data only for one day for the channels....

As described a few post up it:
* selects shows from the xmltv output file of WG++ as a candidate for IMDB data addition. For this it uses selection parameters from a config file.
* Tries to match the show data with an imdb entry, using matching parameters from the same config file.
* Grabs imdb data of matching show. (from the imdb website or from the local imdb data file, see further down) Possible data elements are starrating, user review, user comment summaries, plot and description. The selection of it is configurable via the config file
* add this data to the xmltv file following location settings in the config file.
* add every show for which data is grabbed from imdb to a local imdb data file . This to speed up the grabbing.
I am looking for a few wg++ users that are willing to do some alpha testing of this addition.

the radiotimes site is known to block IP adresses of people using a grabber. I suspect it starts blocking after a certain amount of data. Have you tried the radiotimes.com.index-only.ini version? (grabs from the index page only which reduces the online time and the amount of data grabbed considerably)

I use the whole set as defined in the site pack, however the process always fails after running the first channel. The default first channel is BBC1 - that one grabs fine and then BBC2 fails. However, if I remove BBC1 and let it start with BBC2, then BBC2 grabs OK and then ITV fails!
The other UK grabbers work fine.
That would indicate that it's not data related - so it must mean the radio times ini setup is flawed somewhere??

- an optional number of user comment summaries (one liners like : I like this movie -- or -- Don't waste your time watching this -- etc)

Each of them can be added (programmable) to any of the already available xmltv elements or to the newly to introduce element <review>
Example, a possibility:
- imdb user rating in element star-rating (obvious)
- 3 user-comment-summaries at the beginning of the element description
- imdb description added to the end of the element description
- imdb user review in new element review.

* The imdb grab is done after all the epg grabbing is finished. As an (optional) post process.
* first runs through the local show database (the one that stores all the imdb grabbed data of previous runs, as mentioned before) and tries to find matches in the xmltv file. It adds the imdb data to matching the xmltv shows
* then, from the remaining xmltv shows, it does a selection of imdb grab candidates. Criteria e.g.

Re. starrating : I only know that MCE creates a maximum of 5 stars from a format like 3.5/5 or 7/10. I assume that other pvr's need something simular. I agree that that should be configurable. In my other program I have configurable range amplifier because there is little difference between 5.6/10 (3 stars) and 7.4/10 (3.5 stars) while it's a considerable rating difference.

I agree with your point re the role name. I'd missed that it ignored the name I had provided.
Re the xml database when would you grab this data, would it be on xml epg creation? Does this data need to be regenerated as imdb is updated?
As for the data to be stored I'd suggest at least Rating and the featured User Review.
Yes, I'd love to see a review section, I personally prefer the user review from imdb rather than the storyline which is probably anyway in the epg data.

in the program I mentioned, I use a two step approach:
First I use a standard search (Google, Bing or Yahoo) on the terms "IMDB" and Title and if available: one of the cast (eg the director or the lead actor) and the productiondate.
This returns one or more imdb tt-numbers, like tt0457419.
Second I use these numbers in IMDB to see which matches most of the search items above. It stops searching if a perfect match is found (all items). Also if there is a title mismatch it looks in the imdb foreign title list of the same tt number.
In about 90% of the cases I get a perfect match.
Any more you can think of?

amazing that you ask for this at ths moment. I am just sorting out the things I want to add for the next version and one of that is exactly what you ask.
I another program I made for myself (a EDG viewer/editor) already has this function which I use daily. From this experience know that it cannot be made perfect because the title matching is not always ambigious.
But, its on the todo list,

I am interested in adding IMDB ratings for films in the EPG. Very often the guide source does not include these at all.
So I was wondering if it would be possible / of interest to add an option in the config file for IMDB ratings to be automatically added for every film in the xml output?

I agree that it would be a nice option to directly write the output in mxf format. But currently I have no plans to do that, simply because I'm just alone on this and there are other priorities. Further there is a rather simple solution, which I use myself (also a MC user) : use the BigScreenEpg (BSE) xmltv to MC importer. Beside BSE there are also other xmltv to mxf converters which are in use with WG++.

MC7 has a build in guide but that guide frequently fails for the Dutch channels (only 2 or 3 days are loaded, one miss and no data on sunday; it happend about 10 times already this year). And currently the data for SBS 6 is incorrect, the episode of the Mentalist tomorrow is missing. Anyway, I had it with this guide.
So I'm looking for an alternative now. TVxb works but only fetches limited descriptions. WinGrab+Plus would be better, but currently I can't load the guide since MC7 expects a different format. So a setting to change to XMF would help, or even better loading it directly to MC7 (like TVxb does).

I'm guessing this is happening because the user object may nothave a value, and it simply keeps the previous value.
To test this you could assign a simple value (a string) to that variable just before it gets assigned. This would show you immediately what the issue is.

I am having trouble to get Webgrab+Plus to work.
It stops working in the channel update mode without any guide.xml being produced. I am running on Vista (fully updated)as Administrator.
I am using your standard config file with all the channels deleted apart from two examples that were in the file. In the corresponding ini files (dagenstv.com and tv.nu) I have removed the comment * to generate a channel list. I have made no other changes.
The log states that guide.xml is created but it does not exist when the application stops working and closed.

The output is strictly xmltv format. So it's a xmltv/google interface issue, not limited to WWG++. I advice to google around, maybe there are others with the same wish.

The only thing I found missing is that the 2 portuguese websites with .ini are rather poor, the best one is zon " http://www.zon.pt/Televisao/ListaProgramas.aspx?cat=&channelSigla=5&dia=0&package=9" which does not have an ini file. I was to do one but got discouraged by the 44 pages of the manual are you thinking in adding this guide in a near future? sorry for the small mistake (I only tested it in the new 1.0.9 in which a small bug was fixed, so the error didn't show up).
To correct change the following line in port.hr.ini :
loop {('temp_2' >= "0")|4}
into :
loop {('temp_2' >= "0" max=100)|4}

I still can't reproduce your problem?! I tried with COSMOPOLITAN and TNT but always if I click on a program that has no description I get a page with :
'Te recomendamos'
Can you send me your configfile, the laguiatv.com.ini you are using and a few channels and tomorrows-shows were this happens? My mail address is on the cover of the documentation.

Thank you for yor answer and excuse me for not indtroduce myself. I'm JuanC, from todohtpc forum.
I'm afraid I didn't explain well my problem. Please let me try again.
LaGuiaTV really have detail information for the shows with the (?). If I go to LaGuiaTV.com and click on any of them, it appears a web of this show (I supose that's the detail link you tell me appears as empty), and it shows the argument, genre, actors, etc. of the show. My problem is that WebGrab++ doesn't grab this information.
The only difference I can see in these shows is that it doesn't appear a "description" in their detail web. I thought that could be the problem, and this is what I tried to tell you in my question.
That's to say:
-If the show is a movie, it has no "description", but it has "argument", "genre", "actors" etc. That's when I see the "Title (?)" and "No information". And these are the shows I usually watch.
- If the show isn't a movie, it do have "description", and also has "argument" and the other information. That's when I see the information correctly grabbed.
So let me remake my question:
Is it possible that WebGrab++ doesn't grab the information because it doesn't find a "description"?
In this case:
Can I change the LaGuiaTV.com.ini to make it "forget" the description when it's missing, but to grab the other information?
Or maybe I can make it "forget" the description in any case, and grab only the other information? (this would be enough to me)
And how?
In other case:
Wich could be the problem?
